The Beginning

Hello Everyone,

The "Bayside Brothers Of Christ" blog is officially live! After 5 minutes of planning, hard work, and mind straining struggle I was able to finally get our blog created!

For those of you who weren't at last Thursday's meeting, we followed up a discussion that we had in the past about creating a blog for our group. For those of you who haven't been active participants on a blog, no need to worry, you'll become experts in no time.

For any of you guys that want to be "authors" (I hope this is all of you) of this blog, please reply to the email you received that led you to this post and let me know. Never been an author on a blog?.. no need to worry. An author simply means that you have the ability to "post" notes, articles, thoughts, etc at will.

I hope that as we all get used to visiting our blog, we will feel compelled to participate (some more than others I know) in either posting things of interest (articles we've read, thoughts for the day, prayer requests, praises, really anything) or simply leaving a comment on another brother's post.

The address for our blog is easy http://baysidebros.blogspost.com (bookmark it for easy access!)

THERE ARE NO RULES (AS OF YET) FOR OUR BLOG, except that we respect each others viewpoints and don't turn the comments section into a platform for a heated arguments. I've set things up so that anyone can comment whether or not you have a Google account, but again, in order to be a participant that can post things, you need to be an "author" of the blog. As of right now, I'm the only author..go figure!

Ok.. I'll shut up for now. Feel free to test the comments section below this post (my wife took the liberty to be sure it worked properly) and again, reply to the email I sent that notified you of our new blog if you'd like me to set you up as an author. I will basically be putting your email addresses into the system and Google will walk you through the rest.

Take care guys.. For those of you not coming this Thursday, have a Merry CHRISTmas and a Happy New Year.
